At Janhit Foundation, we believe every child deserves a safe, healthy, and empowered childhood. Our work spans from emergency response to long-term preventive initiatives, all aimed at upholding the dignity, rights, and potential of every child. We intervene through crisis support, community empowerment, and systemic change to protect children from harm and secure their future.
Janhit Foundation is a dedicated partner in the national CHILDLINE network, operating a 24-hour toll-free emergency outreach service for children in need of care and protection. By dialing 1098, children or concerned adults can access immediate support and long-term rehabilitation services.
Since August 2007, Meerut has been part of this vital initiative, with Janhit Foundation responsible for its local implementation. In 2020, our responsibility expanded to include the Meerut Railway Childline, extending our reach and impact.
